2016 – Scouts & Guies Quota – For Gr. C & Gr-D (Erstwhile)
Office
of the Chief Personnel Officer, Eastern Railway, Kolkata has circulated
employment notice for the recruitment of Group C & D vacancies against
Scouts & Guides Quota for the years 2016-17. Eligible and willing candidates
may apply in specific application proforma on or before 04.11.2016 up to 17:00
hrs & 21.11.2016 for remote areas. Other details with respect to age limit,
educational qualification, selection process & how to apply are given
below:-

Educational Qualification: Candidates should have
passed 12th or its equivalent examination with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate
for Group-C Posts and 10th pass or ITI or equivalent or National Apprenticeship
Certificate for Group-D Posts.
Range of Age: Candidates age limit
should be 18-29 years for Post 1; 18-32 years for Post 2 as on 01.01.2017.
Relaxation in upper age will be applicable to SC/ ST/ OBC (NCL)/ PWD/ EX
Serviceman/ J & K domicile/ Widow/ Divorced women/ women judicially
separated but not married as per GOI rules.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5,200 – 20,200 + Grade
Pay Rs. 1,900/-
Examination Fee: Candidates should pay non-refundable
fee of Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- for SC/ ST/ Ex-servicemen, PWD, Women, Minorities and
Economically Backward Classes) through Indian Postal Order (IPO Payable at GPO,
Kolkata) drawn in favour of F&CAO, Eastern Railway Kolkata.
Selection Procedure: Candidates will be
selected based on written examination & skill test followed by Medical
examination.

photocopies of certificates pertaining to educational qualifications, scouting
qualifications, other qualifications, age, caste certificate and other
certificates duly attested by a Gazetted Officer, Two self-addressed envelopes

Place, Kolkata–700 001 or drop at the application box kept in the office of the
Chief Personnel Officer, E. Rly., Recruitment Section on or before 04.11.2016
up to 17:00 hrs & 21.11.2016 for remote areas.
